General
These general terms and conditions (hereafter referred to as ‘T&Cs’) apply to the electronic ordering of all forms of tickets for JSCAMP event. The JSCAMP is a conference by HACKCOLAB SLU, C/General Álvarez de Castro,10,2-1, 08003 Barcelona (hereafter JSCAMP). JSCAMP has appointed Team Tito Limited , Unit 2, 64 Dame Street, Dublin 2 , Ireland (ti.to) as service provider for the management of invitations and tickets for JSCAMP. Team Tito Limited enables the registration for, and payment of, tickets for JSCAMP Barcelona. By ordering tickets for JSCAMP, the customer accepts these T&Cs. Any conditions of the customer deviating from these T&Cs have no validity.
Completion of contract and content
The customer selects an offer to complete a contract, in that he or she chooses one or more tickets on the input screen and clicks on the ‚Continue’ button. The attendance fee includes the conference costs of JSCAMP for the programme as selected by the customer. JSCAMP reserves the right to change speakers and topics. The contract regarding the sale of ticket(s) becomes binding when a confirmation email from JSCAMP is sent to the email address given by the customer as part of the order. The email contains a confirmation and an attached pdf file for printing out the tickets and the invoice. The tickets purchased are for your own personal use or that of your business only and **may not be re-sold or transferred for commercial gain under any circumstances**.In case of re-sale or attempted re-sale of any tickets, we reserve the right to cancel the relevant tickets with immediate effect. Payments should be made in advance and in EUR only, using a credit card, debit card or by wire transfer. Tickets may not be resold or auctioned in any way. JSCAMP reserves the right render the ticket null and void without any responsibility. JSCAMP reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel tickets, registrations, or orders and to limit order quantity (for example, if a buyer does not adhere to our Terms and Conditions or Policy).
Entry to JSCAMP
To gain entry to JSCAMP events, on the day of the event the customer must present the ticket sent by email, printed out in an easily legible form. In exchange for the ticket the customer will receive a badge enabling entry to the JSCAMP event which he or she booked. In the case of lost badges, no claims for a refund of the attendance fee or for a replacement ticket will be entertained. The reproduction of tickets is not permitted. The customer is obliged to hold on to tickets in such a way as to prevent any misuse. The customer will be held responsible for misuse of the tickets. All tickets are nominal. Ticket holders might be asked to show an official document to be identified at any moment during the Event.
Attendee Registration and Admission Policy
JSCAMP, in their sole discretion, reserves the right to accept or decline an individual's registration for an event. Further, JSCAMP, reserves the right to prohibit entry or to remove any individual whether registered or not, be they attendees, exhibitors, representatives, or vendors, whose conduct is not in keeping with the character and purpose of the event. Without limiting the foregoing, JSCAMP reserve the right to remove or refuse entry to anyone who has registered or gained access under false pretenses, provided false information, or for any other reason whatsoever that they deem is cause under the circumstances.
COMBO PASS it's a unipersonal ticket (for one person only) to attend JSCAMP (July 16-17) and CSSCAMP (July 15). You will need only to present your COMBO PASS during the on-site check-in. You will be provided with a unique identification badge that will give you access to both conferences.
Please keep in mind that all attendees are required to provide their passport or EU National ID card details as part of the registration process. This badge must be worn at all conferences activities. No badge means no access to ANY event venues.
Pay-by-invoice Policy
Customers can reserve their tickets selecting pay-by-invoice option, this reservation needs to be paid within 14 working days by wire-transfer (otherwise your ticket reservation is cancelled).
Cancellation Policy
Your registration is immediately binding and non-refundable. You are responsible for your own travel and accommodation arrangements.
Transfer your Ticket
If you have purchased a ticket but cannot attend the conference, you have the option of transferring your ticket to another person. To transfer yours, you may send to the new attendee the link you receive from ti.to after the purchase: the new attendee can then change all the relevant ticket data. Important: Tickets are only valid for the signed up ticket holder and can't be given to someone else during the event.
Event Alteration, Cancellation and Speaker Changes
The Organizers reserve the right to change, alter or cancel the JSCAMP programme at any time.
The Organizers will make every effort to avoid the inconvenience that the modification or suspension of the JSCAMP programme may entail, by, for example, restructuring talks and schedules.
The total and/or partial cancellation of JSCAMP due to unforeseeable circumstances and/or force majeure and/or any other cause which, being beyond its control, would recommend for reasons of safety, prudence and/or risk to third parties, the cancellation of the conference, will under no circumstances lead to a refund of the ticket price, the organization reserves the right to modify or alter the program, on the assumption that a speaker cancels their talk unilaterally.
Should a speaker cancel for whatever reason, the event organizer reserves the right to find a replacement speaker.
Intellectual property and image rights
All image and intellectual property rights arising directly or indirectly from the talk presentations or those of any other nature arising due to JSCAMP taking place are reserved, and the capture, filming or recording of images or sounds without the prior written authorisation of the Organizers is completely prohibited.
Therefore it is not possible to modify, copy, reuse, exploit, reproduce, publicly communicate, make second or subsequent publications, download archives, send by post, transmit, use, treat or distribute in any way the total or parts of the contents of the Website for public or commercial purposes without the express authorisation in writing of HACKCOLAB, SLU or, should it be the case, of the owner of the corresponding rights.
Those attending give their consent to their appearance in images recorded by any type of medium for subsequent informative, promotional and/or commercial dissemination of the JSCAMP and authorization for the use thereof. The said images may appear in any medium or format worldwide and indefinitely.
You are welcome to take your own photos, audio and video through the event. Please feel free to share them with us and other attendees via Email, Twitter or Flickr, etc. and use the #JSCAMP hashtag.
Full length audio and video recordings of talks are not allowed unless granted explicit permission by the event organizer.
Accessibility
The ‘Palau de Congressos de Barcelona’ conference centre is fully accessible to wheelchair users. If you have any requirements you think we should be aware of, please let us know at the point of registering so that we can ensure we meet your needs and have someone on hand to assist you if required. We aim to meet all access requirements but the more notice you give us, the better able we are to assist.
Code of Conduct
Every attendee, sponsor, exhibitor and speaker, by virtue of purchasing a ticket or attending, agrees to comply in full with our conference code of conduct.
Legal reserve
The Organizers shall be entitled to take the civil and criminal legal action it deems appropriate against the perpetrators of any attempts at fraud, burglary and/or damage to the Organizers, either directly or indirectly.
Applicable legislation and competent courts
These conditions are governed by the applicable Spanish legislation. When the applicable legislation allows the parties to choose the jurisdiction, the parties specifically waive any others that may apply to them, and agree to submit the differences that may arise from the interpretation or application of these conditions to the courts and tribunals of the city of Barcelona.
